FORECLOSURE SALE

ATTN. PURCHASERS: This sale may be
rescinded by the foreclosing mortgagee. In
that event, your damages, if any, shall be
limited solely to the return of the bid
amount tendered at sale, plus interest.
MORTGAGE SALE – Default has been
made in the conditions of a mortgage
made by Nancy J. Deyo, original mortgagor to Peoples State Bank of Munising,
of 100 E. Superior Street, Munising, Michigan, 49862, as mortgagee, and recorded
in the Alger County Register of Deeds Office on October 5, 2005, at MI 200502768,
pages 1 through 10 of Mortgages, on
which mortgage there is claimed to be due
at the date hereof, the sum of Sixteen
Thousand, Nine Hundred and Thirty-one
Dollars and 42/100’s ($16,931.42), including interest at 6.87% per annum and late
charges of $139.26.
Under the power of sale contained in said
mortgage, and the statute in such case
made and provided, notice is hereby given
that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a
sale of mortgaged premises, or some part
of them, at public vendue, at the place of
holding the circuit court within Alger
County, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. The mortgaged property will
be offered for sale and offered to the highest bidder at public vendue, for the purpose of satisfying the amount due and
unpaid upon said mortgage, together with
the legal costs and charges of sale, including an attorney fee as provided by law and
in said mortgage.
The land and premises are situated in the
City of Munising, Alger County, Michigan,
described as follows:
The Southwesterly 40 feet of Lots Eleven
(11) and Twelve (12), Block Eleven (11) of
the Home Addition to the Town (now City)
of Munising.
Tax Parcel No.: 02-051-161-011-50.
The premises is commonly known as: 209
Hickory Street, Munising, Alger County,
Michigan
The redemption period shall be 6 months
from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with
MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the
date of such sale.
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale
under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL
600.3278, the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to
the mortgage holder for damaging the
property during the redemption period.
